Susy chose Santa Clarita as a safe environment to raise her family. She was drawn to the legal field at the age of ten. She knew she wanted to be a lawyer because of her desire to find the meaning and ramifications of events occurring around her, and she loved to talk.
When she was in high school, she participated in several youth legal programs. After her graduation from Hastings, she became an associate in a construction/commercial litigation firm, where she gained a full understanding of the litigation process. When her focus changed to personal injury litigation, she discovered the fulfillment that comes from helping people who may not have the means and/or knowledge to help themselves. She and her husband, Greg, spend their free time with their six children and enjoy several outdoor activities, including wakeboarding, camping, and motorcycle riding.
Born Santa Monica, California, September 26, 1964; admitted to bar, 1989, California.
