Pakistan Takes Steps to Improve Aviation

In Pakistan, the federal government has agreed to divide the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) in three sub-divisions in order to improve aviation performance. Teri Waste Ghazi who is the CAA chairman approved the division. The performance has been on the decline for some time, and officials are hopeful that the division will solve the problem.

The CAA is only one of many areas that the government is looking at in order to make improvements in Pakistan. For instance, according to the government, there will be a crackdown against professional beggars beginning in the city of Rawalpindi.

Additionally, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has extended the date of submission of applications for slum-dwellers who want ownership rights for their land.
Further, The Ministry of Planning and Population will organize a one-day media seminar. The participants will be discussing the use of the media for promoting the government's family planning programs online.
