Coffee Recalled Due to Undeclared Allergens

One of the leading wholesale coffee roasters in the Midwest has announced a recall on their product "Chipper with Coffee Bisotti."It is believed there is an unlisted protein, which could cause serious allergic reactions and could be life threatening.

The recalled coffee was distributed in September of 2007. The coffee is sold in various flavors including Apple Cinnamon, Apricot Almond, Banana Walnut, Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Raspberry, Classic Almond, Mocha Chip, Pistachio Orange, Snickerdoodle, Cranberry Orange, German Chocolate, Maple Pecan, Triple Chocolate and Maple Walnut. Fortunately, no illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this recall.
